Go The Distance

"Go the Distance" is weekly program which offers CRR members supported training runs for longer distances. The runs are held weekly on Saturday mornings at various locations in the Atlanta area. We support each Saturday run with maps and fluid stops for various mileages – typically up to 20 miles. The run locations rotate to different locations throughout the Atlanta area and cover all of the different terrains that Atlanta has to offer.

Go the Distance is for all levels of runners – you do not have to be a long distance runner to join in the Go the Distance program, but for members who might want to train for a half or full marathon, or simply like to run longer distances, Go the Distance will definitely give you the training distances you are looking for. This is a great way to meet new people and enjoy longer runs with others.

Monday Night Run

Interested in a unique group run? Now that the long daylight hours are back, a group of Hoochies will be meeting every Monday night for a challenging 7 1/2 mile trail run.
Location: Behind what used to be Friday's on Powers Ferry Road close to the Rose and Crown (1931 Powers Ferry Rd, Atlanta).
Time: 6:00PM
After the run, there's usually a group that stays for dinner at Rose & Crown. Questions? Please email us!


Wednesday Run

5 Mile Run.
Location: Leaves from the interesction of Piedmont Road and Morningside Drive.
Time: 6:00AM
Please wear reflective gear.


Friday Run

5 Mile run.
Location: Leaves from Taco Mac at the intersection of Virginia and Highland
Time: 6:00AM
